Going on record to say that I don't think the shooter being a registered Republican means anything. I remember people encouraging liberals to register as Republicans so they could vote against Trump in the primaries. Its not something I would read too much into.

Yeah but I mean it could've been an incompetent right-winger just as easily as an incompetent liberal or leftist, if not more easily due to being able to get into the event with a gun without being caught.

But yeah, "false flag" seems very very far fetched.

So far the FBI investigation is showing he had no particular political leanings, and that probably wasn't a motive.
