i really wish i could control my thoughts while high. my back pain is still getting worse while i wait on surgery and the only relief i get is adding more edibles. but once i start getting high i can't change my train of thought. i'm just a passenger as my fears and anxieties take control

last night i spent hours while my worst impulses told me i needed to fight back against being pushed out of the community. i spent hours in fight or flight mode while my brain argued about the best ways to fight.

i spent hours trying to go to sleep while my brain shouted "gather all the evidence and fight fight fight FIGGHHHHTTTTTT!!!" and i couldn't trust myself to pick up my phone to ask for help because the majority of my thoughts were asking others to help me keep a grudge going

so i sat here with my brain at war with people i don't care about for literally hours. that's the price to not feel like my legs are being crushed in a compactor.

it's better than a panic attack, but during a panic attack i know i can reach out because my thoughts are not about reaching out to others to dig up dirt on people. i know i shouldn't do that. so i can't reach out at all. or i run the rusk of my worst thoughts winning.
