Now we know Swartz advocated for free distribution / legalisation of CSAM & RMS is a r*pey "ephebophile"; & Andreesen is pushing cryptocurrency & funding the global far right power grab

Yes. He published a blog post to notabug (IIRC) where he advocated that possession of CSAM not be criminal.

The blog post was captured on the Internet Archive, which is currently closed.

It will take effort to track down another archive of it

Advocating decriminalisation of CSAM is wrong. Decriminalisation isn't "legalisation" or "free distribution" though. Seems bad to slander someone who committed suicide over a decade ago just because 2 horrible Silicon Valley peepees were inducted into the Internet Hall of Fame at the same time as him.

his website says he fights the laws that criminalise possession & distribution. That's his words.

It's easier to defend, dismiss, derail, or deny uncomfortable things, to write it off to him having been groomed by mentors or w/ever - that's not for me or anyone to do.

The patent fact is that he had a position of power & privilege over the operation of platforms that could be used to distribute, & distribution of s*x exploitation material - CSAM, CSEM, NCIM - always harms the subjects / victims.
