I have been seeing fake people and "generated" art proposing to be the real thing @bsky.app @safety.bsky.app

They're gonna delegate to users' labelers & blocklists.

The difficulty with automatically detecting generative AI is that the detectors are the same algo that is used to generate the piece up from static and tell if it's "good" or not

And every algo is different

So you have to run N detectors which are set to test to M iterations and you catch the pieces refined to M-1 iterations but not the ones at M+1 iterations and none generated with algos > N

Instead we should make blocklists where humans can list accounts using AI to impersonate and/or proliferate genAI art
