this is a linguistic construction to push back on

"transgender biological {men,women}"

we would say "transgender woman" to indicate a woman who is trans. they want to call us "biological men" and slip that alongside "transgender" in order to poison our language and confuse you.

This is more reason why any politician's "We will follow the law" rhetoric is reasonably knowable to be alarming — this study is about anti-trans laws, showing they are correlated to hate crime homicides of transgender people.

"We will follow the law" isn't enough. Equality has to be a value.
