Look, Bluesky hasn't won yet, but it is clearly winning.

And TBH that has been one of the nicest surprises of 2024.

They started from community, listened to feedback, and shipped features.

We've basically replaced old-Twitter with a platform that doesn't have to prove shit to shareholders.

I am not sure what this means about me but I'm not at all surprised

It's nice to see a long ago dream come true.

Maybe Eternal September is drawing to an end. Maybe as a species we've figured out our first steps beyond a big puddle of spam and trolls
