And it shouldn't be a "Does this maintainer's instincts match mine?" situation. It's a good heuristic / shortcut, but the appropriate gauge should be "Is the maintainer / operator interested in transparency & accountability (or are these lists going to be abusable)?"

A thread that's been brewing for a while: how DO I vet a moderation list that I've come across to see whether or not it's a good list to subscribe to? The key to deciding: you aren't deciding if the list-maker is using it abusively or maliciously; you're deciding if their instincts match yours.

The solution could be multi user maintained lists. We could share lists anf its administration with selected members of the bubble. We'd vet more the list source and we'd benefit from integrations from other people
