If you've got a good blanket, like proper or synthetic fur, it's easily doable and very comfy especially with a hot water bottle, heating pad, and cat. Nothing better than a frigid room and a toasty bed

I constantly kick mine out and tell her to sleep in the guest room because she's a fricking thermonuclear reactor.

Dry winter air + low temperatures + tight strings might cause the front of an acoustic guitar to crack right through the most expensive part of it. Electric guitars are not much of a concern in comparison.

I do the same because it helps me sleep, I often open my window in the winter. I can afford heat, I just run really hot... the only thing that sucks about it is getting out of the bed in the morning.

It's an absolute game changer. My cat doesn't even use her bed at night, she just curls up on the kitchen floor where several pipes run close together.

Plus if you've got a hot water system it's cheaper to run long term than most other heating since the concrete slab acts as a heat sink that helps maintain a constant temperature.
