Biggest issue I've seen is that a system fundamentally dominated by women doesn't understand that competition is important. Ask any feminist theorist and they'll tell you that one of the major bifurcations between men and women is competition vs. collaboration mindsets. Young men and boys thrive on being the best, particularly when challenged by their peer groups. I pushed myself to take AP calculus freshman year primarily because another boy was taking it and I wanted to be his equal.

But no, in our education system feelings and equality matter most, because women cannot understand the notion that competition is healthy and good. Losing feels bad, and that's a good thing, because it encourages you not to lose. You want boys to buy into education? Publish everyone's grades after every test, and give rewards to the top scorers.
