Are humans incapable of loving their heavenly father just because they are lesser beings? What am I to the humble isopod but an unfathomable god? Dozens of generations have come and passed since I led the pods from their bondage in Egypt (the reptile and invertebrate supply store) to their kingdom of Judea (my snake's terrarium). They may not feel philia, eros, or storge (love between equals, sexual love, and love between parent and child respectively), but when their lord gives unto them a fresh cucumber slice, they plainly display "agape".
