I have a lot of opinions about humidifiers. I sleep with a humidifier every night, even when I travel. I find that these ones are better than nothing, but not good enough for my needs.
The first issue is that the output is too low, and the second is that the capacity is too small. They only hold 250 ml or so of water, and so I guess they are tuned to output that much water overnight. The problem is that they run out of water after 5-6 hours and I wake up with a dry throat. I find that I need a humidifier that can output at least a liter in 8 hours.
Another problem with ultrasonic humidifiers in general is that the water particles settle on things, which I don't really like. That's not an issue with one this size though since the output is pretty low.
I've tried a bunch of different ultrasonic and filter-based humidifiers and I keep coming back to these. Plenty of output and water doesn't settle on things. Downsides are that you have to clean them if you have hard tap water, and they use more electricity.
It's the perfect tradeoff between size and performance. Small enough to fit in my carry on, and it has decent output. I have no issues sleeping with it at all.
One consideration is that if you run a bigger humidifier every night, you will get mold. Yours won't have this issue since it's so small.
These are evaporative humidifiers, so it won't make the room super humid like the ultrasonic and warm humidifiers do (and therefore no mold). It will be more effective than the one you have, but again I don't find them powerful enough. Only real downside aside from output is that you have the change the filter every few months. It will be a lot less work than the one you bought since you'll only need to add water every few days, and it could run 24/7 if you want.
Thank you kindly I've only ever purchased this one at dollar tree for the dry air in Sheila's area. I'm just happy i got a spare usb-c charger and a chance to play with a small version before looking into anything more pricey

Anyway, here's what I use and recommend:
At home, you can't beat an old school warm humidifier: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001FWXKTA/

One option that might work for you is a filter-based humidifier: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002QAYJPO/
