SHEILA DEMANDS BLANKIE!

If you would not mind, please try to be kind to yourself today. No one seems to be having a great week so far  just remember, there are cats out there staying strong like Brock in the cold, with no food, and not enough socialization to even know what water bowls mean. We can all make a difference in the world.

Holy moly! I am proud of you for being a routine-oriented person and not completely fumbling... if that were me, that would make me punch walls, no lie.

Thanks :marseyjam:

I had to keep a relatively straight face and make some frantic phone calls

Social services, for an elderly living facility, it's like social worker but with added computer power.

Doesn't sound like a dumb job, I probably don't have the patience or emotional Intelligence for it

You need disability advocacy certification, a big heart, and an ability to conveniently sort through inter-departmental gossip, then feign ignorance to everything. It's quite a socially engaging gig when I'm not just streamlining the computers.

Sounds like a good gig. I miss the unforced social interactions of office life

Now a lot of the social interactions at work are very tedious because it's about (my) money

Unfortunately I'm the sole contractor in my department, but the site company workers all like me

That can sometimes be better than having colleagues to talk to. Guess it depends on the colleague and the site company worker.

Most of my social interactions at work are either subcontractors or schmoozing with rich buttholes to get the contracts that actually matter. If I have to hear one more twink that went to private school, got a job at daddy's company/political campaign and then talk about how poor people are the problem, I'm gonna strangle someone.
