Does he need constant attention? I would walk my yorkie up and down hills for a mile or two and when we got home she was like "okay, can we start playing now?"

If you pet him he expects to be pampered for ages until lays on his side dozing off. Otherwise he runs up to us after he get back home and then he slinks off to sleep on top of the stairs.
