There's less of a fictional tradition of men falling in love with monsters, but there is a long fictional tradition of men falling in love with dolls, statues, images of women, or women who are in some sense artificial: Pygmalion, Coppelia, Her.
Men might ask "why don't we get to fall in love with monsters"? But women can as well ask "why don't we get to fall in love with a hot statue"?
The stories are tailored to each gender. Women grow up as the weaker s*x and must find a way to forge a connection with the stronger, more violent, more sexually aggressive s*x. And men are easily taken in by appearances and must figure out how to forge an authentic connection beyond beauty. Even if he loves the statue he must figure out how to make his love authentic.

Well, theyre not allowed to appeal to men in the sense of actually being appealing to men, instead they try to force men to find appealing what women want them to find appealing. Which doesnt work, because neither foids nor moids understand each other.
And movies (that arent foid-focused like romance or drama) also inherently dont appeal to women, despite again pedowood trying to make women find them appealing because grrlpwr. Doesnt work much better than with scrotes, so ultimately the movie flops.
