Sure but it's like admonishing someone quitting alcohol because they're still drinking coffee. They're doing more than most. The bar has been lowered by quite a lot to be sure

I personally see it more like admonishing someone for swapping a marijuana addiction with a nicotine addiction. The LARP types are attracted to Catholicism because of the mystique and the ability to use the doctrine to "own the libs" and go after one another with purity tests. It turns the faith into a political instrument.
