Greetings all. I have but one question - was Jesus decayed when he arose after the third day. He was not in a freezer. The body was kept in a tomb, and while they may have been able to preserve his flesh with oils, his organs would have started decaying. My research tells me by day 3 his organs would be useless.
As soon as breathing and blood circulation ceases, decomposition begins. An acidic environment is created which begins to rupture and destroy cells. Internal organs begin to decompose and muscles begin to stiffen after three to six hours. Muscles stiffen to their peak at about 12 hours. At this point blisters appear on internal organs an on the skin, sometimes providing a sheen on the skin. By three days, internal organs have decomposed.

When Jesus was resurrected, he still had holes in his hands (and feet? How did he walk?) so we know his body wasn't repaired. So what's going on here? The Jesus they saw would look entirely dead and decomposed if he had returned to the same body that had been sitting in a tomb for 3 days.

The Gospels don't really address this, like most issues the Evangelists didn't consider important. His body may have been miraculously incorrupt in the way the bodies of some saints are, or it might have appeared so, like how the disciples on the road to Emmaus could not recognize him.

13 It is written: “I believed; therefore I have spoken.”[b] Since we have that same spirit of[c] faith, we also believe and therefore speak, 14 because we know that the one who raised the Lord Jesus from the dead will also raise us with Jesus and present us with you to himself. 15 All this is for your benefit, so that the grace that is reaching more and more people may cause thanksgiving to overflow to the glory of God.
16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. 17 For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. 18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

If you read the Deuterocanonical texts they clarify that Jesus isn't filled with organs, but instead that Stretch Armstrong goop.

Being French is to exist in a state of barely contained rage. You sit at a cafe, sip a tiny espresso and eat a delicate pastry on your union-mandated 4-hour coffee break, looking as placid and content as can be, but under the surface a seething ocean of emotion boils, ready to destroy Europe for the 4th time in 2 centuries, finally put perfidious Albion and the Eternal Kraut in the dustbin of history where they belong, reconquer the ungrateful Algerian swine, assert Francophone dominance in West Africa, kick the disgusting Anglo Ontarian across the St Laurence and raise the Tricolor above a sea of bayonets you will gleefully shove right up the anus of anyone who says "muh surrender monkey".
Sometimes the mask slips, but is quickly reaffixed beneath your fruity beret. You finish your coffee, paying exact change with no tip, and secure your baguette to the back of your 49cc moped. You push the starter button, and in your mind the single cylinder buzz is the righteous grumble of a V12 diesel in a Leclerc, crossing the Rhine with Mirage 2000s screaming overhead.
