The German priests will use this new opportunity not for that in the picture, but to actually bless the homosexual relationship, since that's how they keep more people paying the church tax, that is voluntary there, because going trad would make more people to opt out, which would significantly decrease the church's money. I know that the proclamation wouldn't technically allow this, but there is only one thing the church cares about and that's not God, but money.
VATICAN CITYโThe new Prefect of the Doctrine of the Faith states people in โirregularโ unions, such as same s*x unions, may NOT receive anything resembling liturgical blessings, or blessings of their unions.
They may, however, receive spontaneous blessing, limited to โthe invocation of a blessing that descends from God upon those who recognizing themselves to be destitute and in need of his help do not claim a legitimation of their own status, but who beg that all that is true, good, and humanly valid in their lives and their relationships be enriched, healed, and elevated by the presence of the Holy Spirit. These forms of blessing express a supplication that God may grant those aids that come from the impulses of his Spirit what classical theology calls "actual grace" โso that human relationships may mature and grow in fidelity to the Gospel, that they may be freed from their imperfections and frailties, and that they may express themselves in the ever-increasing dimension of the divine love.โ
Translation: Nothing has changed.
Sorry, no gay weddings, but sure, you can ask a priest to bless you.

Here I already said I know what you just wrote, the point is the German clergy already loves going rouge, for example when they already blessed same-s*x couples before and hardly anything was done about it. I love reading all trads seething about all things that have been going on in Germany and Belgium is a similar case too, and they also always seethe that Pope Francis does nothing about it, but instead goes after the TLM for example to shut that down.
1. Disrespect towards God and the Church is not allowed here.
2. We honor the dignity of life from the womb to the tomb.
3. Debate about Scripture, tradition, politics, etc. are allowed when they do not directly contradict rule 1 (controversial history is an open topic when people are respectful).
4. Trolling, coomerisms, and poorly attempted humor may receive the mop at the discretion of those in charge.
5. Pray for your family, pray for your community, pray for your nation, and pray for rDrama.net. We need it! Prayer works!
