On the top of all that, imagine if Sotomayor and minor Federal Courts had the power to remove senators and representatives after being tried for electoral infractions, with charges being brought not by the Justice Department, but by political parties. This is what happened today with Senator Sergio Moro, a group of leftists parties and one Bolsonarist party (PT, PL, the Communists) presented an “ação” on a Federal Court to remove him accusing him of spending more campaign money than it was allowed. The court rejected the action today but the leftoids will appeal to the Supreme Electoral Tribunal which Moraes presides.
