The vast majority of people self publishing on Amazon make no money. Those who do typically have significant marketing budgets in order to turn a mild profit, and they have new stuff out every few weeks.
If someone wanted to make money on written porn for moids, they should probably build an audience on a free site, then eventually start a Patreon and start selling ebooks. But the market is saturated enough that there's no shortcut to success.

Most moids spend money on merch, VNs, and commissions last I checked the numbers.
Iirc furries spend obscene amounts of money, so doing furry commissions is an easy path to make cash. It also helps that furries hate AI, so you don't have to worry about that just yet.

Idk how to break out the statistics but probably let’s say 90% of his subscribers were $1 tier and 10% were $5. Very conservative. That’s still $1100/month before book sales. The breakdown is probably more favorable than that.
He’s got a nice side-gig here, if nothing else.

I wasn't saying this guy is a failure. He's doing very well as online writoids go. What I'm saying is he doesn't reflect a typical outcome of sitting down and churning out a few coom stories. It's sort of like seeing some foid who makes $5000 a month on OnlyFans and not realizing that 90% are making peanuts.
