Your most interesting second hand book find

:marseywave2:

My favorite charity shop is where I found

I found a book called Great People of the Bible and how they lived with multiple pressed flowers inside.

:marseysunflower:

Today I'll be visiting a bookstore that always has free books that they can't sell. Usually it's cookbooks, Christian self help, and dime novels.

:marseydance:

What's you're coolest find?

I found The Scramble for Africa: The White Man's Conquest of the Dark Continent from 1876 to 1912 and Spain Betrayed: The Soviet Union in the Spanish Civil War in the same second hand book store.

The Scramble for Africa: The White Man's Conquest of the Dark Continent from 1876 to 1912 is a comprehensive book on the history of colonization in Africa, mostly drawing from primary source documents. Very interesting to see the reasoning and methods put forward at the time.

Spain Betrayed: The Soviet Union in the Spanish Civil War is pretty much all primary documents on the Soviet Union's support during the Spanish civil war with some explanation in between. Good but kinda boring to be honest.
