Rdrama Bookclub Discussion Thread #3 :marseyreading: The Master and Margarita (Chap. 18-24)

!bookworms, it’s Sunday, time to discuss chapters 18-24 of The Master and Margarita.

Next Sunday will be our final thread discussing Chapters 25-32 plus the Epilogue. I’ll create a nomination thread on Friday for the next Bookclub choice.

I still have to read Chapter 23 and 24 today, so I’ll comment on them later.

Anyone else find the chapters where a lot of magic and/or hijinks happen to be tedious? Sometimes those descriptions just go on way too long. I want to hear more about Pilate already, dammit.

The Witch Margarita on a flying broom chapter was kind of a drag, it could have been shorter or part of another chapter.

want to hear more about Pilate already, dammit.

And so does Ivan Nikolayevich

Yeah I'm mildly amused by the 1930 USSR hijinks, but I'm really here for the Jesus novella
