Oh yeah I forgot to watch one of those film adaptions of the book.

Whats with the weird dubbing tho 😂

1989: Director Roman Polanski was approached by Warner Bros. to adapt and direct Bulgakov's novel. The project was subsequently dropped by Warner Bros. due to budgetary concerns and the studio's belief that the subject matter was no longer relevant due to the fall of the Berlin Wall. Polanski has described his script as the best he has ever adapted.[60]

2018: The Russian director Nikolai Lebedev started preparing the film Master i Margarita: he wrote the script himself and was to start shooting the film with a budget of 800 million roubles (10.5 million euro) in April 2019.[71] The director was later changed to Mikhail Lockshin, and the title to «Woland» (and then again changed to "The Master and Margarita". Filming began in July 2021 and concluded in November 2021. The film is set to be released in the end of 2023.[72]

Looks like most old adaptions focused on the Pilate story, which I get, was a very good part of the book
