Stereotypical “redditor” fiction/books?

Needing some more examples of stereotypical redditor fiction for bait purposes.

So far I've got -

  • Brandon Sanderson's entire bibliography. Basically “witty” characters that talk in reddit-tier quips and Mormon-infused repressed sexuality. Brandon Sanderson was grown in a lab to represent the ultimate reddit-teir literature

  • The Martian/Andy Weir's work. Again, this is reddit evaporated down into its constitute parts. The protagonist talks about “sciencing the shit” out of a fatal problem, and uses LOGIC and INTELLECT

I watched the movie and only found out there was a book later on. I wish that film was a parody as that could work as a funny satire, but instead it had no self awareness, it was just CONSOOOM the movie :soyjackwow::marseydisney: and by the end the consoomers just decide to turn off the dystopian video game open world that is enslaving most of the population just once a week, a better ending would have been shutting it down and touch some grass :#marseygrass:

I can't imagine reading a book with that plot, half of the pages are probably just 80s pop references. MEMBER GUNDAM! MEMBER PAC MAN! MEMBER ATARI!

It's peak man-child literature. In the movie, the MC is running away from the big bad evil guy who's randomly beating up people and doing whatever, because you know there's no cops. As the conflict 'worsens,' still no cops but oops in the end there they are, and all is well.

Utterly childish logic going on.

What did the bad guys wanted anyway? Why were they evil? Own the Open-World video-game and run some ads to make money?

And of course the film's Willy Wonka was some dorky reddit type introvert who only wanted people to have le fun.
