rdrama is it a foid thing to read a book and want to retain interesting information from said book

I don't write in the actual book or highlight or whatever, but I do keep notes separately sometimes. The act of writing notes helps me analyze the text better. But I read mostly nonfiction.

I underline some stuff or quotes I find interesting while reading on my Kindle but that's it. As for printed books I think I never took notes.

I haven't read a book since 2021. Unless you count fanfiction which I devour.
