Yes, in fact I think more so because they are 'good guy' edge lords which is edgier then bag guy edge lords. Just for a taste these are the names of some of their wargear, Nihilus, Sable Trident, The Shadow in the Sky, Armour of Shadows, The Sable Armour, Darkwing, Shadowhawk, and my favorite Whispercutter.
Finished “The Rules of Attraction” by Bret Easton Ellis. Can someone smarter and older than me, tell me if Gen X yuppies were really like this? Nobody in this book has any personality traits whatsoever and they don't enjoy anything. They don't even seem to enjoy s*x. they constantly do drugs and have s*x with anyone just because it's expected of them? And how is it the only time I felt like I was reading about an actual human being was the chapter from Patrick fricking Bateman's POV. Sean is such a shithead and I have no empathy for him whatsoever, Lauren is just as annoying. The only feelings I have about Paul is that there's no way he's just bi, he's 100% gay. I guess I'm kind of spelling out the whole point of the novel typing this out. It's all empty actions that mean nothing.
Started a Star Wars book, “Thrawn: Treason”, this week.

Last book I read was House of Leaves. It was a pretty fun read. I didn't much enjoy the Johnny Truant storyline that much but the main storyline about the Navidson records was cool

I finished Blindness by Jose Saramago and it was really good and really depressing and upsetting and bleak in areas.
Started The Gone World by Tom Sweterlisch and I think I'm not going to finish it, it is insufferably modern with everything. Seemed like a cool idea, time travel detective novel but one of the first bad guys is a fat, confederate nazi, the main character is sexy and strong and smarter than everyone, parallel universe BS, religion is dumb, tragic backstory, etc etc.
Actually I'm kind of at a cross road; I'm almost finished with my current book, Empire of Silence, and I don't want to go straight to the next book in the series. My main choices are Piranesi, Republic of Thieves(a sequel to Lies of Locke Lamore), and continuing Malazan Book of the Fallen, the next of which would be Midnight Tides. Anybody have a suggestion for which I should go to next?

Went back to finish the Earthsea series. The later books are pretty neat but can get bogged down in long discussions about gender. The dragon people are awesome though

Been reading something called "Shadow Slave" for a while now. It is not as edgy or terrible as it sounds. The main character, Sunny, is about to break free from fate, I wonder where the author is going with this.
In the other story I am reading, Circle of Inevitability, the main character, Lumian Lee, has mostly been running around killing black people and breaking mirrors. He also made friends with the CEO of Toxic Masculinity, she was fine with her lover being a gay man, but letting her run off on her own? That is just too much!
