I think I saw it posted on fark or digg, some dude had a 2nd account as a girl and he got exposed because some other poster was calling the dude while msging the girl and he heard the notification sounds so he started spamming msgs. I think this predates loss, I want to say it was somewhere around 2006-2008. There was a massive post on the ctrl-alt-del forums

Splitting up a single epic monologue into separate speech bubbles is at least a step in the right direction. It's a (perhaps unconscious) acknowledgement that when people have a conversation in real life, they don't just drone on monotonously like they're giving a commencement speech.
You know if Nixon Jowl
made this comic, he would reduce the ~15 speech bubbles down to, like, two. With the same word count.
