Speaking on incest, I haven't read “Ada or Ardor” yet and I ordered a copy of “Fire and Blood” which should arrive this week.

Fire and Blood is fairly dry. Reads like a history book of Westeros written in-universe. If you're on top of your ASOIAF knowledge then it's worth reading (and if you're at peace with knowing GRRM
will never finish the second half 
)
If the second half or TWOW ever comes out I'm going to have to reread everything just to remember all the characters and everything that happened

I know, I read “The Romanovs” by Simon Sebag Montefiore which is the history of the 300 years rule of the House of Romanov and loved it. Montefiore is a pop history writer so maybe not the best for serious history of let's say the Russian Revolution or the Napoleonic Wars, but perfect for Dynastic biographies which tend to be super gossipy. Fire and Blood is fake history but on the same vein except it has dragons.
I'll do the same lol, /r/asoiaf is leaving me high on copium the last few days.

I don't have any incest lit beyond "Eros : Metaphysics of S*x" by Arch-chud Julius Evola. He touches briefly on sexual fixations thru classical lens. Oedipus, Orvid, Pygmalion etc..
