Dan "hack" abnett is a capeshit cringe posters and i dont know why he is rated so highly in the community, his books were always super sloppy.

I read the first hundred pages of HH: The Burden That Is Soul, and immediately thought "this is some generic fantasy book shit"...then I closed it.

I got banned for a week from a 40k subreddit once because I said I thought the emperor was a villain and not the main character. The whole discussion of morality in that universe is so much more interesting than the "MUH HEROES GOOD VILLAINS BAD" shit in 40k.
