Honestly, both the Spanish from Spain (Spain has many accents, similar to England) and the Portuguese from Portugal sound terrible. The Standard Mexico accent is an improvement.
The most elegant and poshy sounding Portuguese is the Paulistano accent (from the city of São Paulo).
Unpopular opinion, but I like the Rio-Platense accent/"dialect".

Vosotros is still used a lot in Spain, it disappeared only in LATAM.
Meanwhile Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay retained the "voseo", "vos"instead of "tú"
Vos tenés/tú tienes
Vos hacés/tú haces
