What is that weepy, default violin vst song supposed to be about anyway? Sounds like another rock star complaining about their life.

It's supposed to be about the last emperor of China, who gets that title as a child and has wavering power as his kingdom is in constant conflict throughout the early 1900s. There's tons of regional warlords from what I understand and the word of the day is instability. Eventually republican forces and communist forces just go hot war that has to get paused for a bit because the Japanese invade during WWII. But he ends up captured by the victorious CCP and the story goes that the emperor is relegated to sweeping streets. IDK, I'm still watching the movie.
