That "guide" is quite old, I rarely use that sort of stabilization anymore. In Krita, I mainly use something called the "Dynamic Brush Tool" to get smoother lines. Though for making Marseys it's sometimes better to use tools like the bezier curve or actual vector layers instead of trying to nail that line right.

Unless you're an idiot like me who likes pressing Ctrl + Z 700 times until you get it right.

does krita have a search bar and are these tools hard to use? because the stabilizer is so easy.

https://i.rdrama.net/images/1698362751215348.webp I don't know if there's a search bar for tools, but they should all be in your toolbar by default.

There's this documentation in which you can search for specific features. I need to check there more often.

I don't remember if the dynamic brush is bound to any key by default, I bound mine to a key close to the freehand brush because I often switch between those two. I also mess around in the tool options often to control the smoothing when needed.

Basically, you can edit your lines and shapes and scale them infinitely without losing quality since it's not using pixels. Krita doesn't focus much on vector graphics but it's still usable for simple stuff.

I know some Marsey artists here use Inkscape, but I could never figure how to use it myself. I guess I just don't enjoy working around with vectors very much.
