Because thats not actually the case 99% of the time. Apart from TERF island people basically never get jailed for wrongthink, usually the dailymail juat "forgets" too mention all the other shit they did (like burger journoids forgetting too mention that tyrone decided too shoot at the cops who stopped him for a broken tail light, and didnt just shoot him for the light). Journoid is as journoid does.
And r*pefugees arent treated better by the courts. Theyre too soft in general, but too everypony. The problem is that we cant just chuck them back into the med, but thats only indirectly a judicial issue.
