Brotherhood. Felt like a stale "all the friends we made along the way came together with our powers to beat the bad guy" in the most boring way possible. Rewatched it last year and shut it off during the finale. I havent watched 03 in so fricking long i forgot the ending

03 had a corny alternate timeline dimension hopping ending with actual literal Nazis. I thought it was dorky. I see what u mean about Brotherhood's ending it does have a very cliche shonen ending.

I think Brotherhood is the better anime but I'm still more fond of the original anime. Maybe it's nostalgia, maybe the longer runtime made it feel more "epic."

Agreed, Brotherhood is more concise and cohesive, but 03 is more of an "experience" if that makes any sense
I actually don't think FMA would've become as popular as it did had Brotherhood launched in 03 instead, and the original anime had never happened, it's good but not epic
