Moemorphism (Japanese: θγζ¬δΊΊε, Hepburn: moe gijinka) is a form of anthropomorphism in anime and manga where moe (approx. "cute") qualities are given to non-human beings such as animals, plants, objects, concepts, or phenomena.
Tag NSFW appropriately, credit where credit's due and try to append all posts with "-chan", such as "Ruqqus-chan".

This is the kind of classic which makes me smirk...I think anime is gay, Japan is gay, hentai is gay...but this moemorphism thing often just seems like it's basically "Dad Jokes" and it amuses me.

Was it you posting them on Ruqqus back in the day? Don't recognise this username (not that you'd recognise mine either of course); I'd never even heard of moemorphism until Ruqqus, then I think I subscribed because yeah, "What do you get when you cross a woman with a zebra/cheeseburger/pothole/pencil/pizza/guatemalanrainforest?" is just visual punning :) I don't care for the "sexy" ones so much - but I still get a laugh...like this one, wifi-chan.

Well I've seen you a fair bit around here in the week since I arrived - still disgruntled and don't like this place BECAUSE it doesn't have guildklanholes the way Ruqqus did...that was one of the strengths of Ruqqus, people who want moemorphism can get it, everybody else doesn't have to scroll past it so long as they don't click "All Recent"

Subs can be blocked and subscribed to now though so that's a plus. Also, you can view rdrama without the subs completely if you want. Choices choices.
