This is a fairly pedestrian list but it’s a good start. No need to get into serialism or tone rows off the bat tbh. I also don’t like Bach’s Tocatta and Fugue in D Minor. It has an amazing opening and first few bars and turns into minutes of noodling and scalar runs. It has a messy form, the developments are pretty crappy imo, it’s just a let down.
