IT HAS NICE MELODIES
I'm not saying it's a top 10 all time song, but I think it's actually quite good for a mainstream pop song in current year. A lot of pop songs feel like they're grinding away on my ear drums, but I actually enjoy listening to Thunder.
edit: on the verses in Thunder he's actually kinda flowin' fr fr, I like the combination of flow-rhythm and melody variation. And the chorus is nice, it has a glow to it :3

I've probably unknowingly bobbed my head to this in a bar while half in the bag, but I can't get over how terrible their other songs are and how the singer dances like a pentecostal youth pastor. Opening my mind to appreciate this song in any way will surely lead to spiritual destruction. Imagine Dragons is the soundtrack of every bugman's existence.

See this is my problem with all the hate towards this song, I feel like it's mostly just bias. "Imagine Dragons bad!!"
You can't even allow yourself to appraise the song on its own merits, you're so caught up in the externalities. I think it's a good song, but at the very least people should admit that it's an inoffensively decent pop song.
