Music is so much more accessible nowadays, music reviewing ORGANIZATIONS are completely useless. You can prettymuch find whatever music you're looking for instantly online and make your own thoughts then, whereas movie reviewers are still kind of relevant, since some people don't have time to sit down and watch a movie whenever. People only care about individual reviewers/personalities, not necessarily what they have to say half the time. That's why independent reviewers are still going alright while these publications are failing.
Not only that, but these journoid-type reviewers that have to write for these publications are guaranteed to be censored in some fashion. I can't think of any reason to genuinely use these sites except out of curiosity.
