Add in the fact that it pretty much costs money to tour; You really can't party... It just isn't worth it.

If you look at rock videos from the 80s and 90s, they look like hip hop videos. Hot girls, cool cars, throwing cash around... The busybodies tried to call hiphop sexists but they themselves got called racist, so they changed targets.

Ozzy singing about doing coke and weed was cool.

Lil Homo singing about doing the same thing is lame.

Simple as

Not a single person that article interviews has lived any kind of life and they'll look back on their twenties when they're older and realise that they were no more interesting or exciting than if they'd worked in McDonald's.
