I get that. At the time of this album (2010), she was leaning very hard into the whole Elf-like fantasy maiden aesthetic/vibe. Her two later albums more successively further and further away from that kind of thing. This is from her most recent album and is probably the closest she comes to out and out prog rock, but it might be more of the same to you:

Try her album the milk eyed mender, if you can tolerate her voice. Its just her singing and playing harp and somtimes piano. The songs are not very midievally at all... and if you like feeling miserable you can watch the live video of her song Baby Birch where shes crying while playing the harp and singing about murdering her unborn child
