An Acre Lost - Sleigh Bells

https://youtube.com/watch?v=u2_Zb3FRdPA

Lyrics:

Oh, the first day, Sunday feels like some other life

The dark wake of a troubled heart

The wretched is rad, yeah, a cool new way of life

Where are the real tough kids just tragically die

Don't kid yourself

Don't kid anyone else

An acre lost, taken away

An acre gained, but not by you

If I should wake before I die

Knock me out, for heaven's sake

An acre lost, fading away

An acre gained, the joke's on you

If I should wake before I die

Knock me out, for heaven's sake

I can see the exit signs right behind your eyes

I can see the thunder clouds come rolling in

And all the real tough kids with high IQs

Tragically die, tragically

Don't kid yourself

Don't kid anyone else

An acre lost, taken away

An acre gained, but not by you

If I should wake before I die

Knock me out, for heaven's sake

An acre lost, fading away

An acre gained, the joke's on you

If I should wake before I die

Knock me out, for heaven's sake

Don't kid yourself

Don't kid anyone else

Don't kid yourself

Don't kid anyone else

Don't kid yourself

Don't kid anyone else

Carry strength and blow it away

Blow it away

An acre lost, taken away

An acre gained, but not by you

If I should wake before I die

Knock me out, for heaven's sake

An acre lost, fading away

An acre gained, the joke's on you

If I should wake before I die

Knock me out, for heaven's sake

It's so weird with this band. When they put out their first album, on the late end of the early 2000s indie wave, I thought they were so fricking cool. Like when they did this stuff:

Then they just disappeared for like a whole decade and then suddenly came back with a new album that sounds exactly like their old stuff. I'm not complaining, it's just weird as frick. There was another (not very similar) band from the same time period that did almost the same thing called Death From Above 1979:

But I never even listened to their new album, so I have no idea if it's any good or not.

It's really good IMO. I like the fact that they're still doing their own thing. I liked them back then and I like them now

Btw I LOVE Rill Rill

I listened to that album so much back in the day, it's one of those albums for me that if I listen to it, it feels like I'm back in that place again for a moment or two. Like a priceless feeling.

Rdrama culture is centered around jannies. They have holidays for jannies. They killed hundreds of thousands of white men to free jannies. They listen to janny music. They elect a janny as their president. They dress and act like jannies. They draw the entirety of their modern culture from jannies. They post sassy gifs about jannies. They watch sportsball in worship of jannies. Their biggest event of the year involves throwing parties in honor of jannies playing sports. They use janny slang like "bruh" and "thot". When you say "Martin Luther" they're not thinking of the father of protestantism. They're thinking of the janny. Their cities are completely overrun with jannies. They worship their ZOGbot police force disproportionately filled with jannies and their global police force of soldiers filled with jannies. Their men sit around watching janny ball while their women sit around watching janny talk shows. They worship jannies like Muhammad Ali and Michael Jordan and Michael Jackson and the late Eddie Murphy while attacking the whites who actually built their country before jannies took over. Their movies are filled with jannies and their music charts are topped by jannies. They send jannies to the Olympics and celebrate when the jannies win because those jannies are true red blooded rdrama jannies. They watch janny porn to a point where "BBC" does not make them think of an international media company but about janny peepeees instead. They will tell you how much they hate jannies and how the mutt's law meme is a stale joke and they are just pretending to love jannies but the evidence speaks for itself in that rdrama has always been and will be a nation of janny loving jannies
