Lyrics:
Early man walked away as modern man took control
Their minds weren't all the same, to conquer was their goal
So he built his great empire and he slaughtered his own kind
He died a confused man, killed himself with his own mind
Early man walked away as modern man took control
Their minds weren't all the same and to conquer was their goal
So he built his great empire and he slaughtered his own kind
He died a confused man and he killed himself with his own mind
Let's go
Early man walked away as modern man took control
Their minds weren't all the same and to conquer was their goal
So he built his great empire and he slaughtered his own kind
He died a confused man, killed himself with his own mind
Let's go
Early man walked away as modern man took control
Their minds weren't all the same and to conquer was their goal
So he built his great empire and he slaughtered his own kind
And he died a confused man, he killed himself with his own mind
Let's go!
Early man walked away as modern man took control
Their minds weren't all the same and to conquer was their goal
So he built his great empire, he slaughtered his own kind
He died a confused man, killed himself with his own mind
Let's go!
We're only gonna die from our own arrogance
That's why we might as well take our time

Not that I don't like Nirvana, but I've always wondered why they went down as the 90s band instead of Sublime. I know Nirvana was more popular when Kurt died than Sublime was when Bradley died, but with time you'd think it could/would shift.

I really have no idea, but I definitely hear Santeria played more in public than teen spirit

Sublime's lyrics might be fricked up, but they have a far more “friendly” (upbeat?) sound generally, so it makes sense
