Which is the nature of this music. I get heavy into pre-war blues and folk and country every two years or so, then after a few weeks of a steady diet of it and its misery, I'm ready to drink the old rub or lay down in front of the no. 9 myself.

just realized i never replied to this. im a week late but yeah, i love this guy's covers and his whole skull mask thing. thinking about getting a banjo now. this year has been rough and i was binging on this stuff for awhile. it's comforting but you do have to put it down before you put yourself down. it's funny though, lyrically this kind of thing is a lot heavier than a lot music that presents itself as being more more edgy than it really is
