I'm also leaving. This community turned toxic so fricking fast. I want to enjoy my favorite band returning without the mob commanding me to be angry. I've never seen this sub turn so vile.
I'm getting so many hate messages for "censorship" when I'm just try to keep things civil. I can't do this any more. This community used to be so much fun. I enjoyed moderating for the past 8 years but this is where it ends for me.
I added several new moderators who are doing a great job. Please treat them with kindness. This wasn't an easy decision but this is what's best for my mental health.

Lol I was completely unaware that Linkin Park had a new lead singer who was a woman.
They're a band that peaked super early (Hybrid Theory+Meteora), was part of an increasingly obsolete genre, and saw their lead singer decline and die. It's over, the band didn't have much capacity to successfully evolve into something else that was great. Honestly the only nu-metal band that has does this imo was Deftones and I'm not sure if they're really nu-metal.
