Ideal le wrong generation song for zoomers: Moral Crux - "Bomb for the Mainstream"

https://youtube.com/watch?v=hp65Quv1-bc

It's very obscure, rebellious, but also from approximately the time you were born. You get to have legit street cred for being a hipster, an anarchist, and conforming to the example set by the kids who are older than you but younger than your parents. This combination was the ideal for "punk" kids in my generation. If you truly were born in le wrong generation, it is for you too.

I was potty trained but still watching original airings of Thundercats.

Looks like they were on later compilations with Fat Wreck bands

As an old boomer, I give you official recognition that you belong in whatever my generation is. :#marseycheerup:

Late stage GenX, bastard years into Millennial territory.

I think the distinction comes down to culture and values at that point.

Name some metal bands: Metallica, Megadeth, Sabbath. I like Ozzy's voice but Dio was more reliable. Millennials will say Slipknot and Avenged Sevenfold.

I have a Facebook account but don't use it. Boomers have Facebook and use it for news and humor. Millennials use Instagram, which I haven't activated.

Of course when people ask me what kind of music I listen to, I say "Both kinds! Led Zeppelin AND AC/DC!"

I hate the Ramones and the Clash but I do love Operation Ivy.

I don't actually know that much about music, I just like to bully kids. So if you're not a soft target, I'm gonna abort the mission.
