I didn’t see this or I guess I did but forgot to respond to it since I upmarseyd. I one hundred percent agree with you, and I think unfortunately a lot of people are turned off of his music because it’s clearly not suited for playlist inclusion in a bunch of random other shit. Same thing with Leonard Cohen who I also love, but he’s just not suited for randomized playlists either.
On the other hand, isn’t it weird that there are a bunch of artists who probably benefit too much from the random shit? Like I can’t think of any off of the top of my head right now, but I’m sure there are bands that are better in single doses, but you’d never want to sit through an entire album of theirs?
