Huh
I'ma need a bigger bag for the cohort
Tryna make a millionaire out of slum dogs
Bet that, head crack, blunt force
Cozy with the east Africans up north
Where seven make a three, turn a ten by law
Crescent moon wink, when I blinked it was gone
Left the crib, smacked, no sheath on the sword
Made it by the skin of my teeth, thank God
'03, momma rockin' Liz Claiborne
Had her stressin' up the wall playin' Mary J. songs
Rainy day came, couldn't rinse the stains off
Long way to go, we already came far
Story stayed the same, it was never madе up
Threw me loose changе, look at what I made of it
When the mood change, I'ma poker-face 'em
It's a new day, who got all the aces?
Who be foldin' late? Who know when to play dead?
Who sit up straight when the roof caved in?
Had a full plate, you ain't wanna split it
Tell it to you straight, you ain't wanna listen
Cup runneth over the brim
Bust open, there's no closin' the lid
Drumroll, here go my lil' entrance
Gung ho, I'm the one that go get it
Five O's on me like the Olympics
Pure gold, somethin' told me, "Don't mix it"
Caught a feelin', momma had me out Temple
Not religious, we was really out Philly
Livin' on the fly tryna wing it
We got us a fire to rekindle
Redirect the fight where it's meant for
Triumph over plight and immense loss
Ride alone at night, I get clear thoughts
Caught a couple slights and I veered off
Saw another height, had my ears poppin'
Walked outside, it was still gorgeous
Sharp incisors reveal slowly
In the dark inside, we was real hungry
On a seven of the five, we was real hungry
Uh, niggas still drummin'
Foot shook ground when I stepped on it
Didn't look back when I broke soil
'Cause every time I did it would hurt more
In the dark inside, we was real hungry
On a seven of the five, we was real hungry
And I didn't look back when I broke soil
'Cause every time I did it would hurt more
Alright
Yessir, this nigga spittin'

“Mr. Data, if you struck the twin towers with our photon torpedoes, how is it that the other building fell without having any direct damage?”

"Captain, I'm struggling to understand these 21st century dynamics- I understand that nation states still existing and didn't work together as we expect systems to today. But why did these "Israelis", ostensibly an allied state of the United States seem to be celebrating the attack from a safe distance?"

“Mr. Data, I seem to remember in my studies at the Academy mentions of something called the USS Liberty Incident. If I can recall, during a localized and brief skirmish, the former Mediterranean country of Israel apparently attacked a ship belonging to the United States of America. Curious, a nation that would call another an ally but then attack its ship without provocation or reasonable explanation. Reminds me of our first few meetings with the Ferengi…”

"captain, the readings show a temporal anomaly. it seems the harmonic resonance in the space-time manifold has created a self-correcting behavior. it appears this has caused the towers to fall without any Star Fleet intervention, sir"

Captain, the "jet fuel cannot melt steel beams" meme is a reference to a discredited narrative that has circulated in the aftermath of the September 11th terrorist attacks in New York City. The narrative asserts that the destruction of the Twin Towers was not caused by the kinetic impact of the hijacked airliners and the subsequent thermal load, but rather as a result of a premeditated demolition utilizing high-explosive devices.
The statement "jet fuel cannot melt steel beams" is often employed as evidence to support this unfounded hypothesis, implying that the exothermic reaction of the burning aviation fuel was insufficient to induce a phase change in the structural steel components of the building, causing them to transition from a solid to a liquid state. However, this assertion is not supported by empirical data, as the intense thermal flux generated by the burning fuel was capable of altering the mechanical properties of the steel structure through processes such as thermal softening and creep, eventually leading to its catastrophic failure.

Remember, the Enterprise chasing Space Al-Qaeda is what indirectly led to Trip and T'Pol creating the first space HAPA.

They named their "new" son Lorian in the Enterprise relaunch novels. When Trip gets brought back as a section 31 agent.
I hate Section 31 (outside of DS9) with a passion, but the novels did a good job continuing that family dynamic without too many hamfisted allusions to future famous half-Vulcans.
The latter half of Enterprise really did have great character writing with Trip and T'Pol.
Granted, I'm r-slurred, but I always smile whenever I hear that redneck engineer talk.

Me too. Trip and T’Pol had great chemistry and I did (forgive the term) ship them. I haven’t read any Star Trek novels really but if they could somehow give them both happiness I’d probably enjoy them.Tucker dying made me so fricking sad

I forgot about this scene. My favorite part of this episode is Seven of Nine arguing in favor of capital punishment since it’s cheaper than feeding prisoners. Funny as heck.
