You don't understand how TMZ runs it's business. They sell click-bait. They know that when their notification pops up on your phone, you only see the first line or first few words. That's valuable real estate. The most important words to their business model go first.

In case you're wondering, this isn't a weird translation issue.

As a belgian, its mindboggling you rent places without floors and it is normal to “bring” your own floor and take the floors with you after the lease. Lmao Also that incone requirement is also next level but the rent itself would be below 1000Eu?

It's mostly because tenants used to demand the previous tenant take their old crap with them so they could put in something to their own taste.

Usually if there's already floors and such it's up to the new tenant to state if they want to keep it or have it removed. That's why contracts often state the existing tenant is responsible for delivering the apartment bare if so requested.

Flooring is worse and when a Dutch apartment/home doesn't come with flooring, it usually only has 1 sink and a cabinet to pass as a "kitchen" so you have to get everything just like someone in Germany does.

I've heard the bringing your own kitchen thing about Germany. Netherlands has somehow let itself get cucked even harder to where they have to bring a floor and kitchen appliances.

It depends. How it usually works is:

A: you're the first person to live there: In this case yes, you will need to buy the floor.

B: you're not the first person to live there: In this case you can often take over the floor thats already there. If you decline that (because it was the ugliest floor you ever saw in your life) then the previous rentee needs to remove the floor and you will have to buy a new one:

C: the house / appartement is offered as furnished: In this case there is a floor chosen for you.
