Britain was given a mandate to govern Mandatory Palestine, the Jewish homeland. Israel declared independence from Britain later but let the Palestinians hang out.

A bunch of gay stuff happened after, and then one day Syria and Egypt and Jordan tried to colonize Israel, and Israel decolonized their asses back and kept the territory.

The Palestinians claim it's a military occupation but they're wrong. It's just Israel's land that they won through a defensive war. It's not apartheid, it's Hadrian's Wall 2.0.
