Brazilian journos discuss the most important aspect of recent Israel events, will it benefit Bolsonaro? :marseyreportercnn::marseyshooting::marseyflagbrazil:

To give you guys a bit of context UOL is a turbo lib brazilian news outlet and their journos are some of the most deranged members of the press while still being “mainstream”, which is not saying much considering the turbo wingcuckism of Brazilian Media.

Here's an article by notorious Brazilian journo and professional r-slur with a terminal case case of BDS (Bolsonaro Derangement Syndrome) Leonardo Sakamoto :marseychingchong:, he's been seething about Israel in the past few days (a bunch of articles about how Israel will use the r*pe and death of civilians to make Palestine look bad) and talks about the worst aspect of the dead of Israeli babies, they'll be used as part of Israeli propaganda :marseymindblown::marseyscream:

https://noticias.uol.com.br/colunas/jose-roberto-de-toledo/2023/10/11/nas-redes-bolsonarismo-esta-faturando-politicamente-com-ataques-do-hamas.htm

On this article José Roberto Toledo talks about how 65% of mentions of Hamas on Brazilian Whatsapp are negative and only 5% are positive! According to him this means a bigger support for Bolsonaro as people associate Hamas and Palestine with Lula :marseypearlclutch:

Coping and seething on social media. He's been barred from running for any political office for the next 8 years and he's been charged with abuse of power, just yesterday he had a small win as the Supreme Justice Tribunal (second most powerful court after the Supreme Federal Tribunal) suspended his trial.

Was he charged with anything :marseycoleporter: that wouldn't also apply to the other politicians? (Was he given the Trump :marseyhitler2: treatment?)

He's been charged of receiving gifts (jewelry from the saudis), using presidential authority to influence election results, le heckin 8/1 insurrection and falsifying a vaccine certificate.

In comparison Lula was convicted for taking bribes to favor construction companies and a meat industry (JBS) and was acquitted on technicalities in one of his charges (the others are currently on stand by as he's the president now and therefore has immunity, in fact anyone holding office in Brazil has judicial immunity but once he's out he'll have to go to court again). He was also convicted of money laundry and charged with stealing public money (recently acquitted this year by the Supreme Federal Tribunal, he appointed his own personal lawyer as a STF justice this year)

The majority of Brazilian congressmen and judges are corrupt and many of them are facing charges and avoid them thanks to immunity.
