The most dramatic option is that Hamas built a weapons cache underneath the hospital and had a malfunction and blew up the hospital and themselves.

I believe reality is almost that dramatic. I think their rocket malfunctioned and hit the hospital. Israel hasn't said it wasn't them unintentionally though. There was heavy fire from Gaza at the time and either sides arms could have malfunctioned and done it or Israel could have fired at Hamas firing from the vicinity of their hospital. The important takeaway is both sides are good boys and dindu nuffin

I can't wait for Iron Beam to come online. The official chatter is that it will be able to intercept rockets while they are still in Gazan airspace by melting the engine or flight surfaces. Imagine how many Hamas rockets will fall in Palestinian territory.
